Founder
Charles E. Ingram
Founder, Conduit America — Memphis, Tennessee
Charles brings 25 years of capital markets experience to Conduit America, which he founded to give credit unions, banks, insurance companies, and institutional investors a sharper, more direct path to the secondary loan market. Within that career, he has spent 20 years in cycle research, market intelligence, strategy, and forecasting, work he carried alongside his capital markets roles for part of that time. He specializes in loan sales and trading, mortgage securitization, servicing valuation, and hedge strategy development, with a career spent working alongside credit unions, community and regional banks, mortgage lenders, and commercial real estate investors across the United States.
Core work spans
- Cycle research, market intelligence, strategy development, and forecasting across capital markets and lending cycles
- Acquisition and sale of residential and commercial loan portfolios — performing, sub-performing, non-performing, and scratch-and-dent
- Agency loan pool trading backed by FNMA, FHLMC, and GNMA
- Mortgage securitization and asset securitization advisory for banks, lenders, and mortgage bankers
- Mortgage servicing rights (MSR) evaluation and servicing valuation
- Pricing model development, trading strategy execution, and hedge strategy design
- Capital markets solutions for financial institutions and commercial real estate investors nationwide
Charles built his career across a series of respected capital markets desks. As Senior Trader with the National Bank of Commerce Capital Markets Group in Memphis, he handled pricing, trading, and hedge strategy execution for wholesale and correspondent mortgage lenders nationwide, managed the bank's CRA loan pool trading, and consistently ranked as the firm's number one trader and producer. Earlier, as a member of the Morgan Keegan Mortgage Finance Group beginning in 1997, he partnered with commercial banks and savings institutions on underwriting, due diligence, securitization, and capital markets advisory — playing a pioneering role in trading sub-performing, non-performing, and scratch-and-dent pools while developing innovative servicing valuation and hedge strategies. He also served in the Capital Markets Group at Meridian Bank in Pennsylvania, within its Asset Securitization Group, where he became one of the firm's top producers.
That depth across trading, securitization, and servicing valuation is the foundation Conduit America is built on. Institutions work with Charles when they need liquidity, accurate pricing, and certainty of execution.
Based in the Memphis metropolitan area and active nationwide, Charles focuses on three things at Conduit America: correct pricing, the right counterparty for every pool, and transactions that close on schedule.

Partner
John Swiger
Research, Strategy & Deal Sourcing
John leads research, strategy, and deal sourcing at Conduit America, where he built and runs the institutional pipeline that drives the firm's loan trading business. He developed Conduit's proprietary counterparty database — a scored, national list of community banks and credit unions sourced from SNL/S&P Global Market Intelligence data and screened on balance-sheet signals such as loan-to-deposit ratios, CRE concentration, and portfolio composition to surface the institutions most likely to sell.
Core work spans
- Counterparty research and target identification — screening banks and credit unions on balance-sheet stress indicators to surface qualified sellers
- Pipeline construction and data infrastructure — building and maintaining the firm's master contact database and outreach systems
- Market and macro research informing positioning, pricing context, and deal strategy
- Outreach materials, deal documentation, and client-facing presentations
- Strategic support across the transaction lifecycle, from first contact through close
John pairs analytical rigor with a data-driven approach to the secondary loan market, building the research and systems that turn a national universe of institutions into a targeted, actionable pipeline. His focus is on precision: identifying the right counterparties before outreach begins, so the firm's energy goes toward the institutions most likely to transact.
